General Information

This page will give you some general information about WoW and Anger Management.

Remember that World of Warcraft, as fun as it is, is only a game! Real Life priorities should ALWAYS come first. With that in mind, Kellim and all of the Officers have things outside of WoW that need to be taken care of and therefore can not always be at your beck and call. If you need help with something, especially completing a quest, and no one is on that can assist you, go do something else for a while and be patient; we won't be logged off forever.

Because WoW is a computer game, your health is at risk. That's right! Even something as fantastic as WoW can be harmful. So here's a couple of tips to help you stay healthy while playing so that you can game even that much longer -

1 - As delicious and tempting as those candy bars and other salty/sugary treats are, take them in moderation. If you had the time and energy to go to the store to purchase said treats, you have the time and energy to make a sandwich or grab a piece of fruit instead.

2 - Drink plenty of liquids! I can't emphasize this enough. I personally have this as a goal because I work in an office. When I'm not sitting around at work taking calls, I'm sitting around playing WoW. You're probably thinking, "But Kellim, what does sitting around all day have to do with my need to drink?" Let me tell you. When you sit around all day without drinking your kidneys begin to shut down. No physical activity making you thirsty to force you to drink, most people tend to forget to drink. Seems silly, but it's true. Without kidneys there is pain and where there is pain there is no enjoyment in WoW. So, I don't care if you're drinking shots of Tequila with Beer chasers (though I recommend water or milk over this option), as long as you're getting plenty of liquids into your system, I'm happy.

3 - Lastly, you can't enjoy WoW and all that it offers as far as entertainment goes if you can't see. I would think that this one is a no brainer but you'd be surprised by the number of people with severely poor eye sight simply because of staring at computer screens all day. For me, this is never really an issue because I'm a smoker (I know, saving my eye sight by killing my lungs... I don't want to hear it!). Every hour or so (give or take about 20 minutes) I stop where I'm at, get up from the computer and walk away for a minimum of 15 minutes. Now, you don't have to take up smoking (I do not recommend nor condone  it!) but I would feel a whole lot better knowing that you're walking away from the computer at least once an hour for at least 15 minutes at a time. This has several benefits! **Gives you a chance to go to the bathroom (after all that liquid intake, you'll need it), Refill your drink, make yourself another sandwich (or grab another piece of fruit), and gets you up and active (if only for a short time) to help those kidneys and other vital organs work properly.**

See? It all ties in together! These 3, seemingly obvious, things are some of the most crucial steps to a healthier you. And where there is a healthier you, there is a better time to be had by all!

=)  If you would like any additional information that you can think of posted here, please send an In-Game mail to Kellim with the subject title "General Info".
